FIFTY personal computers worth P1.8 million were distributed to police stations of the six component cities and 44 towns of Cebu.
“This will help in our computerization program and help speed up our investigations,” said Senior Supt. Noel Gillamac, chief of the Cebu Provincial Police Office.
Gillamac said there was a need to replace obsolete computers of some police stations.
The new computer units were purchased through the headquarters’ Consumer’s Cooperative.
A bidding was made for the procurement of the new computers which will be paid for six months without interest.
