THE MAYOR’S Cup Football Festival kicks off today at the Cebu City Sports Center (CCSC).
Around 130 teams will be competing in 11 age groups of this tournament, which, according to tournament director Dino Musni, is a revival of the 1999 football festival.
The tournament will start at 7 a.m.
Musni said that Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama might attend the opening.
The tournament is supported by Edu Rama, Jerry Guardo with the support of Leylam FC, Bro Nationals FC, Jayans Catering, EC Graphic Printing Services and the Phil Royal Knights Security Agency Inc.
