VETERAN bowler Inday Aguilar was named the “Bowler Of the Year” in the Karambowling Tournament of the Bowlingplex Tenpin Association (BTA) after she topped the seven-game series championship last Saturday at the Gaisano Bowlingplex.
Aguilar finished the tournament with 1,496 pinfalls, edging second placer Luther Pataya, who finished with 1,421 pinfalls. Clarence Tiu placed third with 1,400 pinfalls.
Aguilar had a slow start but logged her best game in the sixth, scoring 224 pinfalls.
Bel Suelto settled for fourth place with 1,395 pinfalls followed by Boy Co at fifth place with 1,385 pinfalls.
Sixth to 10th placers in the tournament were Ed Aniñon (1,384), Cole Co (1,375), Charly Michael (1,353), Aui Padawan (1,352) and his mother Vivian Padawan completed the top 10 with 1,352 pinfalls.
Twenty-one bowlers took part in the tournament.
