A 36-YEAR-OLD woman who is facing human trafficking charges was arrested in barangay Marigondon, Lapu-Lapu City.
Rosalie Cuyos Brown was arrested in her house in sitio Mar Beach last Wednesday afternoon.
The arrest was based on a warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Teresita Galanida of Branch 56 in Mandaue City.
The woman is married to an American.
She was charged for violation of Republic Act 9208 or the Anti-Trafficking of Persons Act.
Inspector Alcon Escosura said the woman was accused of engaging women in prostitution where she offered their sexual services to foreigners.
