A sucker for authentic Italian dishes? You might want to check out this new restaurant along Escario Street that serves nothing but great-tasting Italian recipes at affordable prices.
Opening their doors to the public last October 17, Pigafetta Cebu is the newest Italian restaurant in the city that does not only seek to warm you heart and stomach with delightful Italian dishes but also offer you a cozy place to hangout and chill.
The Italian resto lends its name from the Venetian scholar and explorer Antonio Pigafetta who was believed to be the first Italian to ever set foot on the shores of Cebu in 1520. This is to give an authentic Italian ring to the resto and somehow make the explorer, who’s important to Cebu’s history, “be known to the younger generation”, shared Pigafetta owner Joel Binamiro.
Pigafetta is a 100-square meter resto that can sit 60 people including the outside tables. Its interiors carry a simple yet classy design that elicits the feeling of warmth and comfort while dining.
