CHERRY Andrin of Lapu-Lapu City and Prince Joey Lee emerged winners in the 12-kilometer race of the Cebu Insurers Club “Insuruns” 2015 yesterday.
Andrin crossed the finish line at the Sumilon Road of the Cebu Business Park in 53 minutes and five seconds to take the title in the women’s division.
Jenneda Arcuino placed second with a time of 53:35 while Andrin’s sister, Lovely Fe, completed the top three with a time of 57:39.
Lee, meanwhile, outran Kenyan Douglas Mwiti to take after the men’s crown with a time of 40:34. Mwiti was just four seconds behind with a time of 40:38 while Gerson Casinillo completed the top three, clocking 51:51.
In the 6k race, Geneciel Saballa ruled the female open with a time of 25:09 while Keisha Mae Delechos (27:01) finished second and Carla Cosep (27:54) third.
Arnel Florentino topped the men’s open with a time of 20:33 while Ronilo Cabilan Jr. (20:50) and John Daryl Manos (21:30) placed second and third, respectively.
Mary Joy Loberanis ruled the 3k female division, clocking 11:50 time while Jessel Ochia finished second with a time of 13:56 and Irish Delechos at third, finishing in 14:23.
Winning the men’s crown was Ruel Algufera, who finished in 10:22. Rey Rolly Umnos (10:49) and Arcel Bohol (11:14) came in second and third, respectively.
The running event was organized by the Cebu Insurers Club, which aimed to promote health and wellness in Cebu.
