THE Reception and Study Center for Children (RSCC) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development in Central Visayas is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the parents and relatives of foundling children in their custody.

A newborn boy was found by PO2 Joel Perolino last Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m. inside a multicab parked on Leon Kilat Street, barangay Kalubihan Cebu City.

Another newborn boy was found by Rubelyn Cambor last Nov. 23 at around 6 a.m. beside their sari-sari store in sitio Sto. Niño, barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City.

The parents and relatives have one month to claim their child.

They may contact social worker Vilma Cosido at the RSCC office on Camomot Franza Road, Katipunan Street, barangay Labangon Cebu City at 414-0243.

Failure of the parties to appear will subject the children to abandonment proceedings at the DSWD Central Office.
