THE Cebu-based skin care company Psalmstre Enterprises treated inmates of the Correctional Institution for Women (CIW) to fun activities last Dec. 28.

Chief executive officer Jim Acosta headed the team composed of marketing employees and brand ambassadors Laurence Mossman, Karl Aquino and boy band Goodvibes.

The team provided fun, entertainment and food to more than a hundred women inmates.

Laurence Mossman is the New Placenta for Men ambassador, while Karl Aquino and the Goodvibes are brand ambassadors of Olive-C cologne and soap.

Psalmstre‘s outreach program started in 2008.

“We have been spending Christmas with these wonderful women in the correctional center year after year, because we believe in the transforming power of sharing. Psalmstre has been blessed, and this is just giving back the blessings to these people who deserve a second chance in life. They are among the most lonely people in the world, needless to explain, so we just give them a little happiness. Some of them have been here for many years already, some have grown old inside their cells, and some are sickly. Seeing real smiles on their faces is rewarding,” said Acosta.

Psalmstre also organized a talent search among the inmates.

Winners received cash prizes and products.
