Taxi robbers nabbed

Bystanders helped policemen arrest two men who allegedly robbed a taxi driver last Sunday in barangay Calamba, Cebu City.

Raymund Eroja, 27 and Danny Navarro, 24, were caught after they were pursued by policemen and bystanders after the driver informed them of the robbery.

Christopher Ylanan, 38, a Mellomida Taxi driver, told the police that the two robbers were armed with screw drivers.

They took his P3,000 earnings for the day and fled on foot. The two suspects were detained at the Sawang Calero Police precinct pending the filing of charges.
