MORE than P150,000 in cash will be up for grabs in the longest running bowling tournament in Cebu, the 17th Sinulog Open National Tournament of the Bowlingplex Tenpin Association (BTA)-Cebu and Kmanjaro Africa slated this February 1-7, at the Gaisano Bowlingplex in Barangay Banilad, Cebu City.
There will be five categories that will be competed in including the Masters event which pays out the champion with a whooping P60,000 while the bowler who scores a perfect game will pocket P50,000.
The other categories are the team event, doubles, singles and all events which will feature not just the best Cebuano bowlers but former and current national team members from all over the country.
The top 10 winners in the Masters event will receive cash prizes as well as the top three in the other categories .
The weeklong tournament is expected to draw around a hundred bowlers.
Registration fee for the team event is pegged at P7,500 and P2,500 for each bowler in the other categories. The Masters event registration fee which is inclusive for the top 48 bowlers is also pegged at P2,500.
