“We have committed 60 staff mostly composed of social workers to help manage the help desk for lost and found children,” said DSWD regional director Ma. Evelyn Macapobre.
She said the DSWD staff will be deployed from January 24 to 31 throughout the entire duration of the IEC.
The IEC will begin with a Mass by Cardinal Charles Maung Bo from Myanmar at the Plaza Independencia. Cardinal Bo will also celebrate, in behalf of Pope Francis, the Pontifical Mass at 4 p.m. on January 24.
