The Mandaue City Council approved the holding of a dry run for new traffic schemes and no-left-turn policy in the city.
Councilor Elstone Dabon, chairman of the committee on transportation, proposed an ordinance “enforcing a new traffic scheme and no-left-turn policy along the critical areas directly affecting the overall traffic congestion in Mandaue City” but it was referred to the committee on laws.
Then Dabon authored a resolution asking the Traffic Enforcement Agency of Mandaue (TEAM) to conduct a dry run of the proposed changes in the measure.
The ordinance was passed on second reading and TEAM has 60 days to implement the new traffic scheme.
