Last December 1, 2015, the habitual visit to JCenter Mall’s Dunkin Donut literally rendered M. Gemma R. Bitong, a freelance contractor of finishing materials, speechless as she discovered that her cup of coffee contained the most coveted prize of a year’s worth of classic doughnuts.
“I was very happy because it took me almost 15 times before I got the prize,” Bitong mused. With its relaxing ambiance and accommodating personnel, the first winner in Cebu expressed that Dunkin Donut is her safe-haven after her daily chaos and stress in life.
Since October 15 of last year, “A Surprize in Every Cup” offered to loyal customers of any Dunkin Donuts branch a chance to win either a piece, a dozen, or a year’s worth of classic doughnuts just by purchasing a medium-sized cup of hot coffee.
“We are actually pushing the coffee because we believe that our coffee is grown to taste great. For every cup of coffee that a customer purchases in a la carte, they can win a prize once they peel off the cup,” Mr. Claude Ernst Uyenghua, Marketing Officer Dunkin Donuts Cebu explained.
