Las Piñas bet tops BTA National tilt

EDWIN Perey of the Bowling Association of Las Piñas (BALP) pocketed P60,000 in cold cash last Sunday after topping the Masters event of the recent 17th Bowlingplex Tenpin Association Sinulog Open National Tournament at the Gaisano Bowlingplex, Cebu City.

Perey finished the grueling 10-game series with 2,108 pinfalls, beating BTA-UPHS’s Luke Bolongan who finished second with 2,086 pins. He anchored his title run in the second and seventh frames where he toppled 224 and 212 pinfalls, respectively.

Clifford Tan of BTA-ASPS rounded off the Masters top three with 2,057 pinfalls.

The fourth and fifth spots were shared by Aui Padawan of BTA-PRIMA and her mother, Vivian of BTA-PSBC who both tallied 2,055 pinfalls.

Sixth to 10th placers were Sal Bolongan (2,038), Wilbert Yu (2,029), Jules Pedrajas (2,015), Ruben Legorio (2,010) and Art Gamolo (1,992), respectively.
