BDO-NU eyes second win

Games today:
Ynares Sports Arena
2 p.m. BDO-NU vs Mindanao
4 p.m. Wangs Basketball vs AMA University

THE BDO-NATIONAL University Bulldogs try to build on the momentum they got from getting their first win when they tackle the Mindanao Aguilas today in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup at the Ynares Sports Arena.

The Bulldogs finally broke into the win column after two failed tries with a 93-87 victory over AMA last week. The team, which also has former Ateneo de Cebu aces Dave Wilson Yu and Adven Jess Diputado on top of top guns J-Jay Alejandro and Cameroonian Alfred Aroga, will try to take advantage of the luckless Aguilas who remain without a win in four games this season.

In the second game, AMA University will also try to break out of their winless slump when they face the Wangs Basketball at 4 p.m.  AMA will try to move on from its late collapse against Tanduay last Tuesday, where it lost anew, 92-83. The Titans will lean on Jerramy King, Rashawn McCarthy, and Jammer Jamito to finally end the four-game losing skid.

The Couriers, meanwhile, are hoping to stop their three-game slide behind new recruit Mark Romero, Francis Munsayac, and Clark Bautista.
