Boy with leukemia needs chemo

A NINE-YEAR-OLD boy from barangay Casili in Consolacion town, northern Cebu is in need of financial assistance for his chemotherapy treatment.

Francis Angelou Gungob was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a cancer of the blood which is highly curable if proper treatment is administered.

Francis is energetic. He plays soccer and drums in school. His parents brought him to the doctor when they noticed bruises on his body. The doctor later told them that Francis has leukemia.

For now, Francis has to stop going to school. He needs at least three years of chemotherapy sessions on a weekly to monthly basis.

Francis is asking kindhearted individuals to help him by donating for his chemotherapy.
