Man shot dead in Talisay

A man was shot dead by an armed man in a motorcycle in Barangay Tabunok, Talisay City last Saturday night.

George Restauro, 35, was standing in front of the St. Joseph Church when a backrider of a passing motorcycle fired at him with a 9 mm pistol.

Restauro died after he was hit in the head.

Police said Restauro had been a suspect in several robbery cases and had been in and out of jail because the victims would not pursue the cases against him because of the inconvenience of attending court hearings.

Police were still looking into the killing.
