Visiting boxers confident of winning against local bets in Pinoy Pride 35

The visiting boxers who will be facing ALA Boxing bets in the upcoming Pinoy Pride 35 are confident they can perform well in their respective bouts this Saturday at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.

Yesner Talavera of Nicaragua will take on “Prince” Albert Pagara,    Mexican Eduardo “Fierita” Montoya will face Boholano Mark “Magnifico” Magsayo while Mexican competitor Tony Rodriguez will square off against Kevin Jake “KJ” Cataraja in the fight card dubbed  “Stars of the Future.”

In yesterday’s public workout at the SM City Cebu Event Center,  the three boxers were given a chance to speak with the help of interpreter Jaime Picornell.

WBA No. 15 rated super bantamweight Talavera said he sees Pagara as a good rival but he really intends to snatch the WBO Youth Inter-continental super bantamweight title on fight night. He added it will be a bloody fight and he will do everything to  to come out with the win.

Montoya was a bit conservative and urged spectators to just see his fight against Magsayo for the results.

“Everything is done in the ring,” he said.

Rodriguez, meanwhile, was more confident in his message to Cataraja.

Rodriguez isn’t familiar with the Filipino prospect but he said he is “110 percent” confident to knock Cataraja out. He said that it will be an all-out war that he intends to win.

The opening bout action will feature Esneth Domingo of Lebak, Sultan Kudarat taking on Vic Ejercito of Mandaue City.

Former IBF minimum weight world champion Florante “Little Pacquiao” Condes will also be fighting Melvin Jerusalem while Masbate City’s Jeo Santisima will take on Marco Demecillo of Iligan City.

A fight was added between Singaporean new comer Muhammad Radhwin and Melchor Roda of Samar. Elmo “Bisdak” Traya taking on Romeo Jakosalem of Davao City  completes the list of fights.
