POLICE still could not locate the two cousins who were arrested in an anti-drug operation but were later released allegedly in exchange for cash.

Supt. Artemio Ricabo, deputy director for administration of the Cebu City Police Office, said efforts are still being made to locate Cristian and Mervin Pardillo to shed light on the alleged anomaly involving seven operatives of the City Intelligence Branch.  The two men were not around when police went to their house  in Barangay Duljo-Fatima.

Investigation is ongoing to check into reports that the Pardillo cousins were released after purportedly paying P150,000 to seven policemen after they were arrested in a police operation in  Duljo-Fatima, Cebu City last Feb. 14.

Their alleged cohort, Lito Paculanang, was also arrested and told the media how the two were released after a “negotiation.”  Policemen accused in the alleged anomaly were PO3 Robert Escarlan, PO2 Arnulfo Reglamos, PO2 Dennis Mosqueda, PO2 Manuel Paez III, PO1 Percival Eborlas, PO1 Ansar  Madtahil and PO3 Roy Ryan Cavalida.
