A campaign volunteer of Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. said the launch of an anti-Bongbong movement in Cebu would actually help the senator’s vice presidential bid.
“It’s a positive sign. That will (work) to Bongbong’s advantage. I am happy that they are helping us in our campaign because we have limited resources,” radioman Choy Torralba said in a telephone interview.
Torralba said they were not worried about the movement at all.
He said some politicians in Cebu have already committed to personally campaign for Marcos. Alliances with other local politicians were also being worked out.
“We just can’t reveal who these politicians are. But, definitely, there will be some alliances here,” he added.
