THE Philippine National Police Highway Patrol Group Central Visayas (HPG-7) will closely monitor the arrival of vehicles in Cebu.

In a press briefing yesterday, Senior Supt. Jose Bucsit Macanas, regional director of HPG 7, said they are now working with the Land Transportation Office and the Police Regional Office Central in Visayas (PRO 7) in intensifying its campaign against carnapping.

Macanas said police personnel will be deployed in ports and other entry points in the island to apprehend “hot cars” or stolen vehicles.
