Charred body found inside torched vehicle

THE charred remains of a still unidentified person was found inside an abandoned vehicle in Lower Busay at 2 pm last Thursday.

Dave Ian Cardona, a fire volunteer from Barangay Apas, said they were called to respond to a car fire alarm.

It was only when they put out the fire that they noticed the dead body inside the vehicle.

Residents said they saw a vehicle being towed into the area at 2pm.

They also saw a Caucasian looking man leave the area where burning vehicle was and board a waiting Innova van located a few meters away.

The fire site is located 50 meters away from the Busay Elementary School.
