FORMER Cebu City Rep. Tomas Osmeña is still supporting Liberal Party (LP) bets Mar Roxas and Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo.
This despite the visit of his close friend Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero at his residence on Saturday noon. Osmeña confirmed the senator’s visit to reporters.
“We’re very close friends. And if Leni was not running, I’d be going 100 percent all out for Chiz that’s why I’m torn apart,” he said.
Osmeña said Escudero went all the way to Houston when he was battling stage 4 cancer. “I would always appreciate people who go out of their way. That’s the low point of your life. That’s stage 4 cancer and he comes to visit me,” he said.
“It’s a very painful decision for me to support Leni because my heart is really with him (Chiz),” he added.
