Two men were arrested in Mandaue City on charges of illegal possession of drugs and fire arms in separate occasions yesterday and Wednesday.
Ranil Wagas was arrested in Barangay Tingub, Mandaue City at 9:40 p.m. last Tuesday.
Taken from his possession were one .38 revolver, four bullets, two pieces of small plastic sachet containing shabu and tin foils.
The 39-year-old Wagas is said to be one of the top suspected drug pushers in Mandaue City.
Another suspect, 25-year-old Cecelio Ursal in Barangay Subangdaku by Mandaue City police at 4 a.m. Wednesday
Recovered from Ursal’s possession were one .38 revolver, three bullets and two piece sachets containing shabu.
The two men will face charges of violating Republic Act 10591 or illegal possession of fire arms as well as the gun ban Comelec’s Gun Ban resolution and violating Republic Act 9165 violation of anti-illegal drugs.
