A SUSPECTED gun smuggler was arrested in a buy bust operation by agents of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) at his home in Purok 5 barangay Cansaga in Consolacion town on Tuesday dawn.
Recovered from the possession of Lindo “Doy” Cuevas were nine .45 pistols, five .38 revolvers, one .380 pistols, assorted ammunition and one silencer worth P131,500. CIDG agents said Cuevas would source his guns from gun makers in Danao City. They have yet to identify his buyers.
