CEBUANO bets Marc Nicole Suson and Marc Pradel renew their rivalry as they duke it out in the quarterfinal round of the 16-under boys of the Cebuana Lhuillier Age Group Tennis Championships today in Baybay, Leyte.
The redemption-seeking Pradel dominated Ralph Maloloy, 6-1, 6-1, while the 15-year-old Suson blanked Yves Camay, 6-0, 6-0, to book quarters seats.
It can be recalled that Suson put an end to the championship hopes of Pradel after beating him, 6-1, 6-2, in the semifinal round of the CITIGREEN Junior Tennis Cup last Wednesday.
Both Pradel and Suson are also set to compete in 18-boys under with the former taking on Michael Gorre and the latter battling Elmer Casamero.
Not to be outdone is Harland Hogan, who smashed Sal Andrei Lago, 6-1, 6-4, to advance to the quarterfinal round, where he will go up against the winner of the Rupert Tortal-Giro Sumapig match.
Naga City’s Venz Alforque easily trounced Mark Joseph Talle, 6-1, 6-2.
