Two police officers on AWOL (absent without official leave) status have been identified as the two men who robbed Junrex Cellshop last month in Bogo City.
Senior Supt. Clifford Gairanod, Cebu provincial police director, said in a press briefing that they were able to identify the two police officers through the description of the robbers given by the cellshop employee, who was tied and locked in a stockroom during the robbery.
“I have already the names, but I will not divulge them because I want to score big against this group,” said Gairanod. “We are still trying to connect them. They might be members of a big robbery syndicate operating in Bogo City.”
