A 22-year-old Korean national lost her cellphone while she was eating at Greenwich Pizza in Gaisano Fiesta mall, Tabunok, Talisay City last Monday.
Kim Bokyeong, who is temporarily residing in barangay Cansojong, Talisay, said she put her iPhone 5, which is valued at P40,000, on the chair beside her while she was eating.
After a few minutes, she noticed that her phone was already gone.
Bokyeong reported the incident to the Theft and Robbery Section.
The Korean requested for a CCTV footage but branch manager Lloyd Domagco said that the food chain lacks a close circuit television (CCTV)
to review the incident.

Meanwhile, Jail Warden Noel Ybarsabal of Bais City, Negros Island, lost his service firearm, a caliber 9 mm. to an unidentified burglar last Sunday.
A team from the Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) team is conducting a scene of the crime operation for possible latent prints.
Initial investigation revealed that the unidentified suspect forced entry by destroying the kitchen door of his residence in barangay Colon, Naga City.
