ABOUT P100,000 worth of properties were destroyed in a fire that razed 15 houses and damaged four houses in barangay San Roque, Talisay Ciy at past 9 a.m. Thursday.
SFO2 Sherwin Algoso said the fire started at the home of 39-year-old Shiela Rontal who charged her cellphone and left it unattended.
The fire was reported at 9:37 a.m. and put out in 22 minutes. No one was hurt.
