Seniors, PWD to receive cash aid on April 15

Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama said cash aid for the seniors and persons with disabilities on April 15.

The mayor confirmed this during a forum with media and departmenf heads Thursday morning.

He insisted that the cash distribution is covered by an ordinance and does not violate an election ban on projects and programs.

City Legal Officer Jerone Castillo said their legal opinion favors the cash aid distribution since it forms part of the Department of Social Welfare and Development programs.
