CITY Savings Bank turned over 120 armchairs to Cawayan National High School and Galutan National High School last March 17.
The two schools were severely affected by typhoon Nona that hit Northern Samar last December.
The turnover ceremony and memorandum of agreement signing was attended by CitySavings Eastern Visayas Regional Business Head Adrian Ruiz, CitySavings Catarman Branch Business Head Richard Gesulga, Northern Samar Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Manuel Albaño and the school heads of the respective schools.
“Thank you so much, CitySavings, for the donations and for being our partner in addressing the needs of the school,” Dr. Albaño said.
Galutan National High School head Teresita Marino shared, “The teaching and non-teaching personnel, students and stakeholders of Galutan National High School is so grateful and fully recognizes City Savings Bank’s exemplary and valuable support to the school’s various programs, projects and activities.”
Armed with the bank’s commitment of doing well by doing good, by always making the right long-term decisions that balance the interests of people, CitySavings has always played an active role in helping public schools through various education-related initiatives and projects. This is aligned with the bank’s vision of being the neighbor of choice by giving back to the communities where it is operating./PR
