Typhoon-hit schools in Samar get new armchairs

CITY Savings Bank turned over 120 armchairs to Cawayan National High School and Galutan National High School last March 17.

The two schools were severely affected by typhoon Nona that hit Northern Samar last December.

The turnover ceremony and memorandum of agreement signing was attended by CitySavings Eastern Visayas Regional Business Head Adrian Ruiz, CitySavings Catarman Branch Business Head Richard Gesulga, Northern Samar Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Manuel Albaño and the school heads of the respective schools.

Galutan National High School head Teresita Marino shared, “The teaching and non-teaching personnel, students and stakeholders of Galutan National High School is so grateful and fully recognizes City Savings Bank’s exemplary and valuable support to the school’s various programs, projects and activities.”
