Man nabbed for illegal drugs

A man who has been wanted for two years for illegal possession of firearms was arrested in his residence in Barangay Jumgao, Argao town, southern Cebu at around 5 a.m. yesterday.

Cirilo Camilo, 43, was collared by the arresting officers from the Argao Police Station.

Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 26  Judge Maximo Perez of Argao town issued the warrant for Camilo’s arrest.

Police confiscated four small sachets and a medium pack of suspected shabu worth around P121,000 from Camilo’s possession.

SPO2 Meliton Agadier of Argao Police Station told Cebu Daily News that the suspect attempted to escape but he was cornered by the police.

Camilo is currently detained at the Argao Police Station.
