Drug suspect shot dead outside home

A suspected drug dealer was shot to death outside his house in Barangay Poblacion-Ward I, Minglanilla in southern Cebu last Tuesday noon.

Roel Villaro died on the spot after being shot in the back of the head by an unidentified suspect.

Villaro had just eaten lunch with his common-law partner Elsa Baya and went outside to fix his fan when he was shot dead.

Baya heard a gunshot outside and saw Villaro lying dead on the ground.

SPO1 Romeo Barde of the Minganilla police disclosed Villaro’s alleged drug links but said they are still determining the motive behind the attack.
