Heredia, who is from Nalhub, Dalaguete, and a member of the Special Weapons of Tactics team of the Sibonga-based Regional Public Safety Battalion, drove the Toyota Innova of his girlfriend when it crashed into the road railings, rammed into a public comfort room before it fell into a 10-foot ravine at the national highway of  Candagit, Sibonga town at past 9 p.m. on Tuesday.

Sibonga police investigator SP01 Jaime Mendoza said Heredia’s companion, Dexter Cabie, 32, from Minglanilla, also died of severe head injuries.
