Television personality Korina Sanchez-Roxas was in Barangay Lepanto, Alegria this afternoon to campaign for for her husband, presidential candidate and Liberal Party (LP) standard bearer Mar Roxas.
A video posted by Alegria resident Arnel Montemayor showed Korina – who was wearing an LP polo shirt (yellow), black pants, and a yellow watch, greeting the residents of the upland barangay.

Montemayor told Cebu Daily News in a Facebook private message that before Korina arrived, some LP campaign staff distributed yellow bags that contained a fan, the comic book that depicted Roxas as a hero during the onslaught of supertyphoon Yolanda in Leyte in November 2013, a Roxas baller and a cap.
Alegria Mayor Verna Magallon said Korina was in town to attend a forum óf farmers from Alegria and Malabuyoc together with Agriculture Secretary Proceso J. Alcala. Korina arrived at around 2 p.m. on board a helicopter while Alcala came earlier at noon, she said.

Magallon, who is running for reelection under LP, said the forum was organized by reelectionist second district Rep. Wilfredo Caminero (LP).
