Construction worker shot while sleeping

A CONSTRUCTION worker got shot while sleeping with co-workers at Purok Center, Lower Lawis in Barangay Campo, San Francisco town, Cebu.

The 45-year-old victim identified as Jerry Seano, a resident of barangay Poblacion Diade in Nueva Vizcaya, sustained a gunshot wound on his left shoulder while sleeping with co-workers of Venrey Construction.

Police recovered 17 empty shells of an M16 rifle from the crime scene.

The motive and identity of the suspect is still unknown.
