A street sweeper was injured after she was hit by a multicab in Barangay Ibabao, Mandaue City at 6:25 a.m. last Monday.
The multicab also hit a garbage truck, a tricycle and another multicab, said barangay tanod Arnold Caruana.
Marilyn Cortes, 40, sustained a broken leg and jaw and was suffering from back pains as she was hit from behind.
The multicab driver, 20-year-old Franz Joseph Pagobo, was detained at the Mandaue City Traffic Management Unit pending the filing of charges of reckless imprudence. He denied allegations that he was drunk.
