CEBUANO rider Jonel Carcueva outlasted some of the country’s top riders to win the Open Elite A title in the Alliance of Mountain Trekkers and Adventurers (AMTA) Mountain Bike Challenge yesterday at Tres De Mayo, Minglanilla, Cebu.
Carcueva rolled past brothers Jaybop and Jhunvie Pagnanawon and Talisay City’s Jun Duron, who wound up second, third and fourth, respectively.
Race organizer Bryan Michael Enad said that they were unable to keep track of the final time of the racers since they were doing it manually.
