THE Cebu Provincial Board authorized Cebu Gov. Hilario Davide III to sign a deed of donation with the Department of Justice for a 3,000 meter lot in the Department of Agriculture compound at M. Velez Street, Cebu City.
PB Member Grecilda Sanchez-Zaballero, who authored the resolution authorizing the donation, said the DOJ asked for a lot to build their regional office on along with their offices of the regional state prosecutor, provincial prosecutor, Cebu City prosecutor and Public Attorney’s Office.
“The request is for a donation, not even usufruct. They cannot construct if the lot is not theirs,” Zaballero said.
