DO’S FOR VOTERS
— Make a list of who you will vote for
— Know you precinct assignment
— bring a valid ID
— vote between 6am to 5pm
— vote the earliest as possible to
avoid the summer heat
— make sure your ballot is clean of
any marks
— double check your vote receipt to
ensure that the right candidates
you chose are reflected accurately
— have your index finger marked with
indelible ink after voting

— voting more than the required

— giving free food and drinks to

— handing out ballers, caps, shirts
and other materials bearing
the names of the candidates
— possession of firearms
— playing campaign jingles especially
near polling places
— arguing with the members of the
board of election inspectors (BEIs)
— drinking liquor
— watchers approaching or talking to
voters inside the precinct
OTHER iMPORTANT REMINDERS
— Barangay officials are not allowed
within a 50-meter radius from the
polling places
— The BEI can call security personnel
into the voting precincts in case of
unruly watchers and voters
— Take selfies only when you’re
outside
the polling precinct
— In case of a mismatch on the
voter’s choice and the ones
reflected on the vote receipt, inform
the BEI and have your case or
concern recorded
— Voting less than the required number
ofcandidates is allowed
— If your ballot is rejected, try
three more times in different
orientations. If it’s still rejected,
ask for another ballot.
— If a voter decides to contest the vote
receipt, he or she cannot ask for
another ballot. His or her complaint
will be resolved only by Comelec
