The rest of the day will be hot and humid, said weather specialist Romeo Aguirre from the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) Mactan.
He said the highest temperature will be from 12 p.m. until past 2 p.m. today.
“Weather temperature is expected from 27 to 34 degrees Celsius with a heat index of 40 degrees Celsius,” he told Cebu Daily News.
Aguirre said there would be less chance of rain due to local convective activities.
“It might be in the afternoon, an isolated rainshower or thunderstorm,” he said.
As of yesterday, no major weather disturbance was monitored within the country.
