Del Mar wins in Cebu City north district

Cebu City North District Rep. Raul del Mar has won his reelection, the Cebu City Board of Canvassers announced shortly after it completed the counting of returns from all clustered voting precincts in the city at 2:45 a.m. today.

The result released by the BOC showed Del Mar (Liberal Party) garnering a total of 134,940 votes against his closest opponent, former Cebu City mayor Alvin Garcia, a candidate of Team Rama, who received 64,348 votes.
