TWO young men died in a collision with a multicab at the national highway of barangay Legaspi, Alegria town at midnight Thursday.
Police identified the victims as 20-year-old Elimar Fuentes and his 22-year-old cousin Michael of Malabuyoc town.
PO2 Melvin Patoc of the Alegria police said the victims had just left a family reunion and were headed home on board a motorcycle when they accidentally collided with a multicab driven by Felicisimo Baylosis, a resident of barangay Legaspi, Alegria town.
Baylosis, who turned himself over to the police, said he just fetched his daughter and was headed south for home when he saw the two victims zigzagging at high speed along the national highway.
He said he was unable to avoid them on time.
The collision threw both victims off their motorcycle resulting in their deaths.
Patoc said the two victims were advised by their relatives not to go home since they were drunk at the time.
