Man survives attack by cousin

A man survived a murder attempt committed by a relative at his home in the mountain sitio Ughay, Barangay Pung-ol Sibugay, Cebu City last Saturday evening.

Jomar Bontilao was watching TV at his home when his cousin, Raymond Bontilao barged in and fired several shots at him. Jomar managed to crawl out of the house and scream for help, SPO2 Wetzel Berry of the Cebu City Police Office said.

Berry said Jomar and Raymond are neighbors in sitio Ughay. Jomar sustained a gunshot wound on the armpit but survived after undergoing treatment at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center.
