OUTGOING Maribojoc Mayor Leoncio Evasco Jr. met with incoming Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña to personally thank him for delivering votes for presumptive President Rodrigo Duterte.
In a press conference yesterday afternoon, Evasco said he thanked Osmeña for delivering 67 percent of the votes for Duterte in Cebu City.
Asked if the posters that were posted around the city during the campaign period were part of Osmeña’s campaign to boost Duterte’s presidency, Evasco said he cannot confirm it.
But he said there was no truth that Osmeña dropped Liberal Party (LP) standard-bearer Mar Roxas and running mate Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo.
Evasco also thanked the Cebuanos for delivering votes for Duterte.
