TWO outdoor educators will host a climbing trip to two rock climbing areas in Toledo, Cebu. Poog and Cantabaco, both internationally renowned for their classic routes, will be the venue of the rock climbing trip happening on May 21 and 22.
Mervil Patigdas and Wendell Bhagdok Getubig, who both work internationally as outdoor educators, will team up to host the rock trip dubbed, “Summer Rock Thrills.”
The climbing event is a response to the explosion in the number of Cebuanos who show keen interest in outdoor sports and physical fitness.
Patigdas and Getubig will teach participants the basics of climbing on natural rock and the basics of conserving the climbing environment. They will be backed by members of the Cebu Rock Climbing Community (CRCC).
