PAREF-Springdale Titan standout Joshua Balankig stood head and shoulders above nearly a hundred kids that participated in the Jax Summer Basketball Camp 2016 as he took home the Camp MVP award for the 18-under age group in the basketball training bootcamp that recently concluded at the City Sports Club Cebu.

Jabby Bautista, a former point guard of the University of the Philippines, the University of San Carlos and Southwestern University and now the head coach of the Titans, headed the camp which sought to boost the skills of young, up-and-coming players.

Bringing home the 12-under MVP award was Rod Robins.

The other special award winners included Neil Abella and Trishia Co who won the Camp Shooter plums; Darren Navasquez and Marco Banzon who took home the Camp Ball Handler awards; Ben Salimbangon and Enzo Go who won the Camp Rebounder titles; John Balatayo and Jan Lim who were recognized for their defensive prowess; and Kyle Valencia and Marco Esplanada who were feted for their immense improvement throughout the camp.

Meanwhile, Hanes Abasola won the 18-under three-point shootout while Matthew Racaza won the 12-under big boys shootout. Bo Ybanez won the 12-under small boys shootout.
