A SIX-YEAR-OLD boy from Sogod town in Southern Leyte is in need of financial assistance for his chemotherapy.
James Pol was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a cancer of the blood which has a high chance of cure if given proper treatment.
Pol was diagnosed in December 2013 and started undergoing chemotherapy in early 2014.
His parents have been staying in Barangay Calajoan, Minglanilla town, where his father temporarily works as in-house construction worker while waiting for James’ chemotherapy, which is scheduled for three years, to be over. James showed good response to the treatment, but just recently he had a relapse, which means he has to recapitulate the three-year chemotherapy treatment.
James is asking kindhearted individuals to help him by donating for his chemotherapy.
His father, who used to work as a farmer in their hometown, now earns money as a construction worker, while his mother is a homemaker.
