FOUR tankers from the Cebu City Blue Marlins (CBM) Swimming Club put up an impressive showing to help the team rule the Cebu City Sports Center (CCSC) Summer Swimming Age-Group Activity last May 29 at the Cebu City Aquatic Center.
The four who won six gold medals each for CBM were Chris Lord Garcia (boys’ 6-Under), Amara Isabelle Mayol (girls’ 9-10 years old), Frances Kelly Sabalones (girls’ 11-12 years old) and Rhina Louise Fran (girls’ 15-Above).
Each of them won the golds in the 25m flutter kick, 25m dog paddle, 25m freestyle, 25m backstroke, 25m breaststroke and 25m butterfly events.
CBM finished the summer event with a total medal tally of 29-16-14 (gold-silver-bronze). The team beat the Keevin Alvarez Swimming Club and Hydro Immersion Swimming Club.
