CEBUANO netter Arthur Craig Pantino and partner John Bryan Otico were forced to retire in their championship match against Kusumo Putro and Haekal Ramadhan in the AGS 5 International Junior Championships 2016 yesterday in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Otico and Pantino were down in the opening set, 0-2, when the former suffered an arm injury forcing the duo to retire.
Early in the day, the duo survived the tandem of Akbar Hidayat and Hendrawan Susanto, 6-1, 6-4, to a book a championship berth.
